Course objectives:
Arabic Language Objectives
- Describe personal items, daily clothing, and specific rooms using appropriate Arabic vocabulary.
- Identify and utilize the vocabulary for the five human senses to describe interactions with the world.
- Recognize and name fundamental geometric shapes in Arabic.
Quranic Memorization Objectives
- Apply the correct etiquette of starting Quranic recitation by vocalizing Al-Isti'azah and Al-Basmalah.
- Recite Surat Al-Fatihah flawlessly from memory, understanding its necessity for daily prayer.
- Memorize and recite an expanded library of short Surahs from Juz Amma (including Al-Kafirun, Al-Masad, Al-Humazah, Quraysh, and Al-Ma'un).
Islamic Studies Objectives
- List and define the Five Pillars of Islam.
- Identify the names of the five daily obligatory prayers (Salah) and their general daily sequence.
- Simulate the physical movements of Salah in conjunction with their prior knowledge of Wudu.
- Apply specific Prophetic teachings to their behavior, particularly demonstrating actionable ways to show respect and kindness to the elderly.
